Magbana Drum & Dance NYC is a multi-cultural performance group of percussionists and dancers. Our mission is to entertain and educate people from all walks of life about the power of the drum and the movement it inspires. Magbana's company members are from all over the world, and together we produce music and movement that fuse world percussion with traditional African drum and dance rhythms, martial arts and contemporary dance. Magbana believes that music and dance transcend the boundaries of race, culture and class, and is dedicated to promoting diversity and eliminating prejudice through performance and education.
