Return Policy

Wula Drum products come with a satisfaction guarantee. If you are unhappy with your purchase we will refund your money or apply a store credit. We ask that customers inspect their items carefully as we are unable to accept returns after the 30 day period. Wula Drum will review returned products with broken heads and cracks in the wood on a case-to-case basis (See our reheading/skin warranty section for more information). On occasion, we fix cracks in our drums, but only if we can guarantee the structural integrity of the drum. We will notify any retailer/customer prior to the sale of any repaired drum as to its original defect and its current condition.

Please note our products are handmade using natural materials, such as goatskins and hardwoods, which can change over time.

  • Damaged Shipments: If any items arrive damaged or below satisfaction, customer has 10 days to notify us. We can either refund your money or apply a store credit. We ask that customers inspect their items carefully as we are unable to accept returns after the 10 day time period.
  • Shipping from NYC: The retailer/customer must pay for any shipping expenses from New York City. Currently, we use FedEx Ground. Fed Ex Ground does not offer same delivery. It is best if we have a few days notice before we need to ship, so please realize Wula Drum is not responsible for same day shipping, nor can we guarantee exact delivery times. If a retailer/customer has their own account with a different carrier, arrangements can be made for pick up from our Wula Drum Center in Queens.
  • Reheading/skin warranty: Wula Drum provides the highest quality goatskins on every drum. We offer full service repairs to any broken drumhead. If you purchased a Wula Drum, you also receive a warranty for that goatskin, so that in the event it breaks within 60 days of purchase, we will replace it free of charge.* Wula Drum takes pride in sending every drum out tuned to a professional standard, so please keep in mind that any extra tuning/diamond knots can result in the head splitting, not covered in this warranty.
  • Fees/charges/exchange rates: Due to the cost of business transactions, Wula Drum cannot refund the entire amount of some accounts. These tend to be online transaction fees and shipping costs. This also applies to exchange rates, which are subject to change.

* All repairs are inspected and assessed in-house. After 60 days, we offer a bracketed discount based on the nature of the repair and the time of purchase.
